Welcome back to our Product Progress Updates we’re glad to have you sticking around with us. 

This time, we’ve been thinking about typos, nosy auto-corrects, and those times when you hit send on an important message only to realise afterwards that you forgot something! And hey, mistakes happen to the best of us (and even the rest of us)! So editing content is here to help make it easier for you to correct your misatkes mistakes.


✨ New Features

Edit Your Messages
Upon request, we are now allowing you to edit your messages within 15 minutes of sending them.

Edit Your Posts
You can now edit posts you’ve shared in either the community & subgroup feed



🥳 Feature Upgrades

See your Shared Communities
You can now see mutual communities you share with your connections and connection requests.

Emails for New Connections
You'll now get emails when someone wants to connect with you. Making sure you never miss that connection!

🐛 Bug Fixes

  • Messaging problems:
    • Fixed an issue where users couldn’t mention others in subgroup chats.
    • Fixed an issue where hyperlinks break in comment notifications.
    • Fixed an issue where your keyboard wouldn’t close after searching for GIFs on mobile.
    • Fixed mutual communities not showing up on mobile.
    • File previews work properly in messages again.
    • Fixed an issue which caused our A.I. moderation to block sending certain GIFs.
    • Fixed an issue that broke the ability to send GIFs in comments.
  • Notifications: Fixed an issue where you will get in app notifications for the chat you have open on your screen.
  • Visual fixes:
    • Fixed an issue which made the description in the delete subgroup modal bold.
    • Groups you've joined now show up first
    • The "View feed" button now works properly
    • Fixed the Report Bug button making the menu too big
    • Pinned posts won't hide behind your keyboard on mobile
  • Error fixes:
    • Removed unnecessary error messages
    • Fixed incorrect error messages about notifications
    • Fixed random error messages popping up
  • Technical stuff:
    • You can now delete your profile prompts
    • Fixed problems with notification bar on some devices
    • Fixed messaging problems on some phones
    • Made our admin tools work more reliably

🔧 Reliability upgrades

  • Fixed an issue where the home page gets stuck on loading.
  • Fixed an issue where the app freezes if user is inactive for an extended period of time.
  • Updated querying so notifications load faster.
  • Fixed an issue where the settings page will 500 server error on refresh.
  • Fixed an issue which caused community posts to not load properly.
